HANDLING THE HARVEST

Realize The Blessing
“For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son…” God gave. To fully trust God with the fruit in our lives, we must first understand the fact that generosity is at the very core of who God is. And to put our trust into action, we must reflect that generosity in our own lives. In this message, we discover that trusting God means mirroring his generous nature. And when we decide to step out in faith and generously sow the seeds of trust, the harvest of fruit he produces will be greater than we could have ever imagined—both in our lives and in the lives of those around us. So at Thanksgiving, let's REALIZE THE BLESSING and reflect that blessing through generous hearts!

In God We Trust
Many of us if asked, would say that we trust God. We trust God with our salvation and forgiveness; our health and our eternity. Yet, so often, when it comes to the tangible things in our life, we draw the line and forget that trusting God with everything calls for action on our part. In this series, HANDLING THE HARVEST, we will discover that trusting God requires us to honor God with more than just words. And as we discover how to live trust out on the rugged plains of reality, we also discover a clear path God provides for us—a path that leads to a new definition and purpose for our lives. In this series, we will learn how to handle the blessing of the harvest God has brought into our lives.

How To Make Changes
It may be that you don't like where you are in life. You seem to be going no where fast. A closer look under the water and you discover that your boat is hung up on one or more character stumps, deadly obstacles that keep us from moving forward. We all have problems, and oftentimes those problems on the surface are caused by subsurface hindrances. Once we identify the hindrances, we are then in position TO MAKE THE CHANGES necessary for recovery and healing in our lives.

How To Gain Control
This is the wheelbarrow step. The Bible says that the God of this universe has shot a cable from his building to our building and the cable is called the cross and Jesus Christ has pushed the wheelbarrow across the cable. He is the one who needs to handle our habits, hangups, and hurts.

Another Night with the Frogs
There is a remarkable resemblance between frogs and the rebellion in our lives. To establish a lasting legacy that makes a difference, we will have to deal with the frogs. Join us this Sunday as we see Moses confront the hardness of Pharaoh's heart with the ten plagues.

A Lasting Legacy: Journey to the Center of Your Worth
We determine our legacy by the choices that we make. Moses made some crucial choices that affected his involvement with God's purpose for his life. But the greatest choice we make that brings the greatest sense of worth in our lives is the choice of total surrender.

A Lasting Legacy: Face to Face with God
We are not always conscious of it, but God is passionately pursuing us into a deeper relationship with himself. He will go to great lengths to get our attention. He is the "hound of heaven." In this message we look in on how God revealed himself to Moses and Moses' response.

Message 2 -- Fish Face
Different kinds of fish are compared with different kinds of people and personalities. In this message we are reminded that we need to stock our relational tanks with a variety of fish. We also need to heed the warning against swimming with dangerous creatures.
Fish are a lot like people. They have different traits and behavior patterns. Some fish swim well together, and in other habitats, relating in a peaceful manner may be more of a challenge. In this Sunday’s message, we will be identifying several fish and their characteristics to discover how we can better relate to the fish swimming in our aquarium.

Message 3 -- Fish Food
Jesus said that he is the bread of life, and as Christians, we have the bread of life within us. But we must not keep the food to ourselves. This message will challenge every Christian to intentionally swim with people that need the food of eternal life that Jesus offers.

Message 4 -- See World
Do you feel sometimes that you're living in a fish bowl---that people are watching? Well, as Christians, people are watching us. This message will remind us that Christians are Christ's representatives on earth and that others should "see your good works and glorify your Father in heaven." [Mt 5.16]
